CDP Climate Change 2024
GGC participated in the CDP assessment on climate change management for the fourth year in a row, reflecting the Company's commitment. in managing risks and impacts from climate change, which is part of sustainability operations.
S&P Global Yearbook Member 2024
GGC participated in the S&P ESG CSA, an organization that evaluates the sustainability performance of leading companies worldwide, ranking them by industry group. As part of the chemical industry group, GGC achieved a score of 79 out of 100, ranking in the 99th percentile compared to other companies in the same industry globally. Additionally, GGC was recognized as one of the outstanding performers in sustainability management within the chemical industry in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024.
Ecovadis
GGC received a Gold award from EcoVadis with a score of 75, which is an assessment of sustainability covering 4 dimensions: environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. This reflects the operations of the Company and strengthens confidence among stakeholders in conducting business that is consistent with sustainability throughout the supply chain. GGC aims to achieve the Platinum level, the highest tier, in the coming years.
ISB Excellent Award 2024 & ISB DNA
GGC participated in the "I-EA-T Sustainable Business" project organized by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand and was awarded the ISB Excellence Award, recognizing outstanding achievement. This reflects the Company’s leadership in the industrial sector. The award is based on rigorous criteria and certification standards for impact performance, emphasizing the excellent impact of the Company's operations. It highlights the Company’s ability to deliver high-impact results through value creation with stakeholders across the business value chain and to drive broad-based impact in collaboration with various sectors, contributing to sustainability. Additionally, GGC received the ISB DNA Award for excellence in promoting organizational culture.
Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies: CGR 2024
GGC received the “Excellent” or 5-star corporate governance award for the 7th consecutive year from the 2024 Corporate Governance Survey of Listed Companies under the supervision of the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) with support from The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). This award reflects GGC’s transparent management and equal treatment of all stakeholders, as well as the Company’s continuous focus on developing excellent corporate governance.
2024 Sustainability Disclosure Award (Category 1: Honorary Award) for the fourth consecutive year.
GGC was honored with an award recognizing its public disclosure of sustainability information to stakeholders through its sustainability development report. This reflects the Company's commitment to advancing economic, social, and environmental dimensions to achieve sustainable growth aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. This award not only boosts morale within the organization for its transparency in sustainability disclosure but also acknowledges businesses that align with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12.6. Currently, the Sustainability Disclosure Community (SDC) comprises 144 member organizations.
The Best of ESG Award from Future Trends Awards
GGC received an award as an organization recognized for excellence in conducting business based on ESG principles and implementing social responsibility projects that provide significant benefits and value to society, supported by clear and tangible evidence of its achievements.
CSR DIW Continuous Award 2024
GGC received the CSR-DIW Continuous Award for the year 2024 for its Rayong branch, marking the ninth consecutive year of recognition. Additionally, the Chonburi branch has received the CSR-DIW Award for 2024 from the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry. This award reflects GGC’s operations with social responsibility and continuous and sustainable community development.
White Banner – Green Star Award 2024
GGC was awarded the White Banner - Gold Star award for the 6th consecutive year and the White Banner- Green Star award for the 11th consecutive year for Environmental Governance and Safety by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). These awards reflect the GGC's commitment to environmental management, demonstrating excellent performance that has earned recognition from both the government and the public.
Corporate Nation-Building Award
GGC has received the "Corporate Nation-Building Award" for the fifth time, organized by the Nation-Building Institute. GGC was honored with two awards: the "Thailand Corporate Nation-Building Award" for outstanding business sector models and the "CNB Sustainability Award" for excellence in sustainability. Additionally, GGC received a 5A certificate for achieving an average score of 90% or higher across six dimensions.
These awards reflect the GGC's dedication to environmental management, with clear plans to address impacts and implement solutions effectively.
ESG DNA
GGC received a certificate of honor and recognition for its success in the “ESG DNA: Sustainability Knowledge for All Levels of Organizational Personnel” program. The Stock Exchange of Thailand awarded this certificate to organizations where over 70% of employees completed its basic sustainability learning course. GGC achieved 100% participation and completion of the course among its target group of employees.
